Historical values of Pécs
During the Roman period, Pécs back then so called Sopianae, was the capital of the province Pannonia. This Roman period let its historical sights until these days: the “Early Christian tombs” and the “Cella Septichora”, which are listed as UNESCO world heritages, can still be visited in Pécs.
